The balance problem

Your balance isn't the same as what's available.

Your balance includes money that's already spoken for, money you want to protect and everyday spending you still need to cover. Trackliit separates those from what's actually available.

Example — not your data
Total balance
$4,280
Already spoken for
−$1,940
Protected
−$1,000
Everyday spending still needed
−$300
Actually Available
$1,040

Two numbers, two questions

Today and this month are not the same thing.

NOW

Actually Available

Your current balance after what's already spoken for, what you're protecting and the everyday spending you still need.

MONTHLY

Monthly flexible money

Monthly flexible money is what your monthly plan leaves after expenses, goal contribution and breathing room.

Trackliit keeps these two numbers separate because they answer different questions.

Questions

Good to know.

What is Trackliit?

Trackliit is a set of digital money tools. They help you see what's actually available, decide on a purchase, plan your month and test how a change in monthly income could affect your plan — without spreadsheets or a bank connection.

What's the difference between the three products?

Can I Afford This? (DECIDE) shows what your money looks like after a purchase. Personal Money Plan (PLAN) turns your numbers into a monthly plan. Money OS Starter brings the core DECIDE and PLAN workflows together, alongside Money Map, Goals, saved scenarios and What If?, in one workspace.

What's the difference between Actually Available and Monthly flexible money?

Actually Available is about now: your current balance after money that's already spoken for, money you're protecting and the everyday spending you still need. Monthly flexible money is what your monthly plan leaves after expenses, goal contribution and breathing room. They answer different questions, so Trackliit shows them separately.

What does What If? do?

What If? lets you test how a change in monthly income could affect your plan before changing your real numbers. To check a specific purchase, use Can I Afford This?
